AGAH! First of all, I miss everybody. 'you are the one that left, ashley.' Ah, splitting hairs. In the time that I've been gone, I've actually got some work done.

I saw some people I thought I'd never see again. Reconnected with a couple friends. Let some stuff go. Made some awesome buds. Tyler, Kira, Amanda, Alexis, Bev, Aisha, Lisa, McKenzie, Matt, Devon, Haddiyah, Jamie, (Danielle, who's probably pissed with me right now.) etcetera... The semester is almost over and I'm going to miss them. A lot.

I've been writing things down, developing plots, trashing those plots, keeping journals, tightening my hand-related skills.
I've decided to play an instrument (still at a loss concerning which one), finish and hand in every single piece of work assigned to me, and to do two graduation projects. Ambers computer is completely shot and in pieces. I didn't have anything to do with it, honest. But the point is, mom and dad need a place to do all their technical stuff (which includes waking yours truly at ungodly hours for Mapquest when they have a turn-by-turn touch-screen GPS RIGHT in front of them, but who's complaining?). So I have all this stuff snazzing up my room now. Three! all-in-one printers (the intelligence is stunning.), a hand-built desk with all kinds of space (black and silver color scheme), some kind of high-price portable heater...etcetera etcetera blah akbhlbfadjf. and- OH MY LORD- My room is clean. And I'm getting it redone.

uwegh, on to other things. The baby thing --no longer an 'it', HER name is Naomi Simone Elena blahasfjaljk... Something to that effect. But it sounds pretty cool when my sister says it-- is going over pretty well. Nobody screams at each other and no one is getting impaled on forks. I think I toughed on that previously. I get to see my dad a lot more and my mom is... my mom's the new Frenemy. (sorry, hate to use that, but it works.) It's kind of weird cause my dad and I are like pals with occasional differences and my mother & I like old friends that hate each other. So, I think it's going well. I'm hoping.

Ah. High is... exactly what it sounds like. Major disappointment. Freshman Friday was uneventful. No one is going to hunt me down if I don't do my work, and worst of all, I spent years learning to write in cursive for nothing. Never used it. Ever. My mom started a bank account and I haven't even signed my name yet. I've forgotten how. There's all kinds of clubs (and crazy) at school and everyone could really care less what you're doing.
I joined the swim team. Yeah. yeah... and then my mom said my grades were ...blah... and I was off the team. For like, two days. Then, lucky me, I get the Jotts*. After, I receive a message from God that he hates me with a passion via toothache. Not one of those 'ow, it hurts', the kind where I stayed in bed screaming for hours. Glorious. I miss Monday, Wensday-- ah, woah, Firefox just told me I spelled a word wrong. It's the third day of the week so, I Google it and it's "Wednesday". I'm still repeating it and it's not sounding right. wehd-nes-day. wedsnay. Gwennasday?-- and leave early on Thursday, and mis Friday. I'm told my dentist is sick, has an emergency...Can't see me till Tuesday. I cry. Miss Monday. Stay home Tuesday. Man-in-white-coat say's instead of a root canal I should see an oral surgeon to get it pulled and --GROSS!-- I have an infection.

Excuse me- I what? Where?! Brushing, flossing, Listerine, has done me no good. So I get to eat mold. I haven't started. I send messages to my favorite Jew (very proud, smart, rather cynical) asking whether it tastes like regular mold, because that's all Penicillin is, right? Just marketed and in a pill-package, not hairy with odd colors.

Okay, still with me? Take a breath.

I learned a lot from Swim team. (noun because Swim team lives and breathes and we all drown in style together) Swim team says you do 20 push-ups after the 500 warm-up. Swim team says you practice everyday. (Swim team required finesse so i swam on weekends) Swim team requires that you inhale foods like pasta and peanut butter. (bananas and Oranges at the meet.) or drink enough Gatorade to wash down an elephant. Whatever keeps you floating. Swim team asks that you help team counterparts out of the pool. Swim team demands that you accustom and accommodate yourself with teammates. Swim team pats your back and tussles your hair after you DQ in the pool and feel like scum. Swim team also appeals to primal urges and suggest that you scream bloody murder when somebody wearing that good old Gold&Blue tears off the block and beasts everyone else out the pool. Swim team loves you. --Think I'm tearing up. I'll stop.
